The S.C. PARC INDUSTRIAL COPSA MICA S.A. has begun its activity in 2004 in the facilities of the former S.C. CARBOSIN S.A. located in the industrial zone of the town Copsa Mica.

-- Zone of the industrial park in an oveall surface area of 44.06 ha, includes:

industrial facilities featuring surface areas within 0.5 and 2 ha, with the possibility to be reorganized into larger lots of up to 5 ha
administrative building including the offices and the business and technological incubators
industrial halls featuring surface areas within 100 sqms. and 2,500 sqms
warehouses with and without roofs
green areas
internal traffic system including roads, sidewalks and parking areas
factory railway

-- The main reasons for setting up the industrial park are definitely originating in the complex development envisaged for this area, i.e:

using human resources at their right value, by creating new jobs and developing the ocupational conditions and breakdown
reducing the number of the unemployed in the Medias – Copsa-Mica zone, increasing the income of the population in the region, the level of confort and quality featured by the loggings at site
diversifying local economy by capitalizing the natural resources and the available infrastructure in the region
stimulating small companies in the region by developing a modern technical and economic infrastructure in the industrial park
upgrading local economy, developing novative structures and attitudes, consolidating coopreational links between economic and research-development sectors
availability of a proper outlook for stabilizing young labor force in the region
providing higher labor force qualification to meet the requirements of the new technology to be implemented in the region
emphasis on implementing non-poluting activities, in order to protect environment
developing cultural activities in the town Copsa Mica
stimulating economic wealth in order to reduce differences between the economies of Romania and the developed EU-states.
